Ivo Köhler

Ivo Köhler’s practical experience in maintenance and operations is complemented by experience in the fields of purchasing vehicles, design engineering, quality management and market research. He can refer to a number of publications about transport history and vehicle technology. For VCDB he is responsible for both expert reports and assessments for the preparation and assistance when purchasing vehicles as well as for acceptance tests and manufacturing supervision.

Thomas Kunze

Thomas Kunze was significantly involved in the strategic development and in the establishment of our Rail Vehicle Technology Division in the market. Likewise he is a specialist in manufacturing supervision and technical acceptance tests of rail vehicles and buses. With the help of his experience from long-term activities abroad (focussing on Eastern Europe and Latin America) and his intercultural competences as well as his language skills (German, English, Spanish, Russian), Thomas Kunze actively supports the management in acquisition and accomplishment of international projects.

Lutz Leppi

Lutz Leppi has learned the light rail trade from the bottom up. For VCDB he is very successful in the fields of manufacturing supervision, commissioning and obtaining approval for rail vehicles in Germany and abroad.

Jürgen Mosch

Due to his many years of experience as Workshop Manager, Jürgen Mosch is our specialist for maintenance procedures and workshop planning. He also initiated VCDB’s activities in the field of technical documentation for rail vehicles.

Uwe Hanke

Due to his welding engineering skills – he has an additional qualification as an approved European Welding Engineer (EWE) – Uwe Hanke is our specialist and principal contact for technical acceptance tests in the field of welding engineering for rail vehicles made of steel or aluminium. In addition, he strengthens our team in the manufacturing supervision as well as with first article inspections and final acceptance tests.
